How to get the most out of SEMDA 2016
T-minus 7 days and counting to SEMDA 2016 in Nashville! We are gearing up for what is going to be a collection of outstanding interactions and learning opportunities for all of the stakeholders in the medical device and medtech realm. Here are a few tips to help you generate the greatest value out of your time with us in Nashville.
1. Partnering system app
SEMDA is proud to offer a conference app for 2016 to help you make the connections that help you get business done! In it you will find profiles of more than 170 organizations, 220 attendees including investors, speakers, sponsors, PitchRounds participating companies and more. You can request meetings, set your own personalized agenda, view the floor plan, create and share business cards and more. We’ve gone to great lengths to make your connecting easier and of greater value. Registered attendees will find their login information in their email from SEMDA, subject “Welcome to SEMDA 2016.” Download it in advance!
2. Opening reception
Nashville’s hospitality will be in full display during our first ever opening reception. Our friends at ARCiPLEX will be hosting an the reception on May 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the ARCiPLEX headquarters. Join us after dinner for live music, networking, and light refreshments. The event is sponsored by ARCiPLEX and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

3. Be social, be bold. I promise we will be friendly!
As Kayla Rodriguez, COO of SweetBio, told us, “Our experience at SEMDA 2015 helped refine our strategic direction, improved our pitch, opened new doors and helped validated our business. Allow yourself to be social, be bold. The collective crew at SEMDA is most welcoming.”
You can see the list of attendees through the conference app. Milt Capps with Venture Nashville also published a conference preview inclusive of PitchRounds companies, investors, speakers and more last week. Investors, this is your opportunity to learn more about the teams and technologies that could represent your next medtech investment as Gary Stevenson and Jan Bouten did last year.
