It’s go time! SEMDA 2017 kicks off Tuesday evening in Atlanta!
We have come a very long way in a short amount of time. Are you ready to make the most of your medtech experience, concept to commercialization, in Atlanta this week?
Who will emerge as one of this year’s highly investable companies like Sweetbio did in 2016? Which young companies like Myolyn and Contego will prime themselves for new investment and a pitching slot at Advamed 2017 for the winner through PitchRounds?
“We are looking to invest in companies who have found a highly valuable solution to an unmet clinical need, and it is going to be a long haul,” Ib Badejo, senior director of new ventures with J&J Innovation told us. “With the regulatory guidelines that are in place, these are not short term investments that we are making. The days of an investment and quick exit are gone.”
Will you find your next customers like MMA has in past years? “SEMDA serves as the central connecting hub for the Southeast medtech community,” MMA’s Courtney Warren told us. “We have met new companies at SEMDA that are now MMA clients. Through our involvement with SEMDA, we have been able to connect our clients with investors, suppliers, and specialists to help their business succeed.”
What new regional connections will SEMDA 2017 foster in a two-day, one-stop shop of the entire Southeast medtech ecosystem? What will we learn from the plenary sessions about the state of medtech innovation in the southeast?
We will find the answers to these questions and more starting Tuesday evening in Atlanta. There is still time to register.
Don’t forget, you can see the list of attendees through the conference app. And don’t forget to Follow SEMDA on LinkedIn & Twitter. Join the conversation with the hashtag #SEMDA2017. We’ll be posting as often as we can.
