Sam Konduros

    Began formally serving as President/CEO of SCBIO (South Carolina Biotechnology Industry Organization) in Spring 2017 — focused on leading the relatively young and innovative statewide organization to its next level of development. SCBIO is committed to advancing, expanding, and accelerating the growth of the life sciences industry in South Carolina, working closely with strategic partners from industry, academia, and the public/private sector — including complementary local, regional, and state economic development agencies such as the SC Department of Commerce.

    Concurrently serve as Founder of SK Strategies, LLC – a Greenville, SC-based consulting firm that has specialized in economic development, public-private partnerships, integrated marketing and business development strategies, vision- mission-brand development, and the creation and implementation of ‘strategic road maps’ for an extraordinary roster of clients since 2004 (including CU-ICAR, Clemson University, Greenville Health System, KENTWOOL, Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and others).
    Formerly served as Executive Director of the Greenville Health Research Development Corporation (RDC) — a 501(c)3 supporting organization of Greenville Health System.

    Also currently serve as board member and past chair of the Cancer Society of Greenville County, SC BIO Board of Directors, South State Bank Greenville Advisory Board, Palmetto Conservation Foundation Board, Konduros Fishermen Fund, former executive committee/board member of the SC Chamber of Commerce.
