With SEMDA 2019 in the books, a note of thanks

 In News

SEMDA 2019 is in the books. Thank you to our staff, sponsors, program participants, PitchRounds judges, PitchRounds companies and those who traveled great distances to join us. A special thank you to Colette Inomata, who really makes it all happen! There were 26 states represented at SEMDA 2019 including California, Massachusetts and Colorado.

We took a new approach to a couple of items this year. Early stage PitchRounds companies kicked things off a day prior to the formal program elements. They exhibited great diversity as well. Congratulations to the 2019 SEMDA PitchRounds winner RCE Technologies. Read their story HERE.

Early surveys returned commented specifically on the high level of potential and strength of the early stage PitchRounders. It also appears the vast majority of panels and presentations were rated 4 out of 5 stars or higher. We thank all who took the time to share their insights. Joe Woody and Dean Otto, your leadership and courage are inspiring.

Joe Woody opened the conference showing the leadership and accessibility that has made him an extremely successful medtech CEO. His praise of his team is certainly a lesson for everyone! You can see Joe’s full talk on our Youtube Channel. Stay tuned as we work to make more featured sessions from SEMDA 2019 available for viewing on our Youtube channel.
